Tinitus? Compacted wax? Sinusitis?

Hopi ear candles are a natural way to ease pressure in your ears

Hopi ear candles are a sage remedy that can help to ease pressure in your ears, fight infection and gently remove toxins and excess wax from inside the ear.

The treatment itself has been practised for many years and can be seen on Ancient wall murals in the Grand Canyon, Arizona.  It was popularised by the Hopi Indian tribe and the candles themselves used to be made by them and imported from America.

Biosun is a brand of ear candle that use the traditional recipe handed down from the Hopi Indians. They are made from 100% beeswax and contain therapeutic herbs including St. John’s wort, sage, honey and chamomile.

How they work

The candle is inserted into the entrance of the ear and lit. Warm, dry smoke from the candle draws out excess moisture and toxins through osmosis, aiding in softening hardened wax.  The vaporised beeswax and herbal essences in the smoke combine to help fight infections in the sinuses, inner ear and lymph drainage system.

The treatment is repeated with the other ear and then followed by a relaxing pressure point facial massage.

Benefits of ear candles

There are many benefits of ear candles. Here’s how they can help with three key problems people suffer with.

Tinnitus – If you suffer from Tinnitus, the pleasant crackling sound from the lit candle while it burns can aid as a distraction to the buzzing or ringing in the ear and provide a relaxed and soothing experience.

Compacted ear wax – The heat due to the combustion in the candle wall, gently softens compacted ear wax making it easier to remove.

Sinusitis – The heat from the candle will help to regulate the pressure in the head area, stimulating blood circulation and aid with lymphatic drainage.  This is deepened with the pressure point facial which focuses on lymphatic drainage and so aids to clear the airways.
